All of our inspectors are Licensed Building Officials (LBO), licensed Class 1 to Class 3, through the Province of Saskatchewan - Building Standards and Licensing Branch and are current members of Saskatchewan Building Officials Association (SBOA). Some of our inspectors are nationally certified through the Alliance of Canadian Building Officials' Association (ACBOA).
Bob joined PBI in 2018 as the Operations Manager. Bob obtained his Class 1 Building Official licence in 2014. Prior to joining PBI, he was employed as a Building Inspector II, and Systems Analyst, with the City of Regina Building Standards Department. After receiving her Architectural Technologist diploma in 2010, Virginia worked as a Building Official for the City of Moose Jaw for 12 years. She is a Class 3 Building Official and is dedicated to the enforcement of the National Building Code. Her extensive list of experience extends to teaching the building code at SASK Polytechnic, 10

Her extensive list of experience extends to teaching the building code at SASK Polytechnic, 10 years of taking part in OH&S, and volunteering on the board of the Saskatchewan Building Officials Association! Virginia is a staple to the PBI team, joining our company 2022.
Josh brings with him over 15 years of experience in the construction industry prior to commencing his Building Official career. After obtaining his Red Seal Carpenter Journeyman’s certificate in 2011, he worked extensively in the residential and agricultural construction industry in both Ontario and Saskatchewan. Josh brings with him over 15 years of experience in the construction industry prior to commencing his Building Official career. After obtaining his Red Seal Carpenter Journeyman’s certificate in 2011, he worked extensively in the residential and agricultural construction industry in both Ontario and Saskatchewan. Josh joined PBI in 2022 and is motivated by an interest to contribute to the building industry in a new capacity. Josh obtained his Class 2 license in December 2023 and his Class 3 license in February 2024.
Cristin joined PBI at the beginning of May. She was previously employed with the City of Moose Jaw and is a R-Class 2 licenced building official. Prior to becoming a building official, she spent 6 years working as a real estate agent, giving her a broad range of residential knowledge.
John has been in the construction industry for more than 20 years working on residential and farm projects. After operating his own construction business for well over a decade, John achieved his Class 1 Building Official licence in 2022. John then joined PBI at the beginning of 2023.
Dave was involved with residential and commercial construction at a very young age and has over 40 years experience with building projects of every type. Dave joined PBI in 2005 as a Condominium Reserve Fund Analyst for PBI's subsidiary company, Reserve Pro. Dave obtained his Class 1 Building Officials licence in 2013 and is a member of SBOA.

In his earlier years, Chuck worked in renovations launching him into his future in the construction industry. He spent 15 years as a building sales representative in both residential and commercial construction. Those years gave Chuck immense knowledge of building products, estimations, and plan reviewing. His love for the construction industry led him to pursue a new career as a building official in 2024, joining our team in July.
