All of our inspectors are Licensed Building Officials (LBO), licensed Class 1 to Class 3, through the Province of Saskatchewan - Building Standards and Licensing Branch and are current members of Saskatchewan Building Officials Association (SBOA). Some of our inspectors are nationally certified through the Alliance of Canadian Building Officials' Association (ACBOA).

Doug joined PBI in 2012 after working 29 years for the City of Weyburn’s Building Department where he was employed as Weyburn’s Chief Building Official for over a decade. Doug is also past president of the SBOA and is a Canadian Registered Building Official (CRBO), the top designation of certification by ACBOA (Alliance of Canadian Building Officials Association). He has been a Technical Advisor with the Building Code Training for Canadians course and is a member of the National Committee responsible for the development of the National Occupational Standard for Professional Building Officials. He also sat as a member of a National Committee responsible to develop a model National Building Official Education and Certification program. Doug is the main contact for PBI’s location in Weyburn.
Virginia was a Building Official for the City of Moose Jaw for 12 years. She is a Class 3 Building Official and is dedicated to the enforcement of the National Building Code. Also, she’s on the board of the Saskatchewan Building Officials Association.
ABob joined PBI in 2018 as the Operations Manager. Bob obtained his Class 1 Building Officials licence in 2014 and was employed as a Building Inspector II, as well as a Systems Analyst, with the City of Regina Building Standards Department until his employment with PBI. Bob obtained his R-Class 2 licence in the fall of 2018 and his Class

Amanda has been employed with PBI since 2022 and also currently with the City of Weyburn. She is a Class 2 licenced building official. She also is on the board of the Saskatchewan Building Officials Association.
Bill was involved in the building industry for over 35 years before joining PBI in 2007. Bill obtained his Class 1 Building Officials licence in 2007 and has performed thousands of NBC inspections. Bill obtained his CCBO (Canadian Certified Building Official) certification in 2010 through ACBOA and his restricted R-Class 2 Building Officials licence in April 2014. Bill is a member of SBOA.
Walter was in the telecommunications industry for 37 years, including sales, technical and operations. Walter joined PBI in 2012 after obtaining his Class 1 Building Officials licence, which was motivated by his interest and involvement with a variety of construction projects over the years. Walter obtained his restricted R-Class 2 licence in January 2019. Walter is a member of SBOA.
Dave was involved with residential and commercial construction at a very young age and has over 40 years experience with building projects of every type. Dave joined PBI in 2005 as a Condominium Reserve Fund Analyst for PBI's subsidiary company, Reserve Pro. Dave obtained his Class 1 Building Officials licence in 2013 and is a member of SBOA.
Josh has been involved in the construction industry for over 15 years. After obtaining his Red Seal Carpenter Journeyman’s certificate in 2011, he has worked extensively in the residential construction industry in Ontario and Saskatchewan. Josh joined PBI in 2022, and is motivated by an interest to contribute to the building industry in a new capacity.
